The Experience
After setting up a demo account, I took my test drive, applying my trading strategies to make trades on the online Market Webtrader platform.
I was able to navigate easily on their site using their friendly menu bar. I was able to locate all the information I needed quickly and easily. When I click on the trading resources menu, I was in for a real treat. Their offerings were vast, with a calendar of educational and training events, like I have never seen before. Whether you are an experienced trader or a novice there was materials in multimedia for you.
The Trading Experience
After I logged into the Market Webtrader platform, I was surprised by the ease of access and graphic layout. I was able to see my account information quickly and conveniently right on top of the page.
I then moved my eyes down the page to look at their trading platform details. I was happily surprised to see everything is clear and well organized. It doesn’t seem to take look to fully understand how the platform works and that is a great advantage in my opinion.
The design and graphics were pleasing, you can really see how Markets.com’s investment in research and technology paid off here. The ease of entering and executing a trade was fast and un-cumbersome. Just a few clicks and the trades were executed. The graphs and charts were placed on the platform so that I could verify my strategies before entering the trades and I could stay on top of the markets with up to the minute live data.
The trader also offers multiple page layouts and designs so that the platform can be customized to your own individual needs.
Leverage and Margin
Once again, Markets.com exceeds in their transparency. Most sites just give a number and little to no details, like 400:1, but Markets.com, gives precise details along with all the conditions and to make it easy to follow, the provide detailed examples so that the trader understands their policies. Just be sure to check it on their homepage.
Spreads
Markets.com aims to provide traders with tight, competitive spreads; they offer a complete detailed chart off all assets and spread calculations. Once you have an active trading account, the spreads are computed automatically for your account so you don’t have to figure them out yourself.
The Bottom Line
Markets.com has definitely earned all their accolades. They have assembled one of the finest trading platforms and online trading sites of any broker and have done the same in assembling account mangers, customer service and educational staff.
